We coach adolescence

We provide 1:1 mentoring for the priority students in your School.

We primarily focus on responding to ideas of progressive masculinity and misogyny, alongside general behavioural inconsistencies or any discouragement / underperformance that you might spot in your young people

We help students to re-engage with themselves and the community around them.  We want to build hope, values and vision into their lives; challenging common obstacles and tackling tough questions.

Every mentoring pathway is unique because every student is different. This isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ process. Success is creating space for students to identify their core challenges and frustrations, and to create a practicable pathway forward. We address misogyny, anger, shame, porn culture, violence and everything in-between

We use a simple framework to hinge our conversations. Widely accepted these are the core aspects of life that, when cultivated with consistent effort, form the foundation for lasting well-being . They are : Faith, Self, Relationships and Work. We explore key questions like, “Where am I?” and “Where do I want to go?”

Our mentors are local, trusted and safely recruited community leaders, experienced in guiding adolescents through developmental shifts.

How To Start

We want to roll this out to more High Schools across Norfolk.

We charge £20 per session, offering 5 x 50 min sessions per school day. We suggest a mentor starts by coming into your school one day per week.

  1. Your school meets with a certified Eden Group Mentor. You get to know them and see if they align with the vision and values of the school.

  2. You onboard the mentor if successful. It’s your Safeguarding policy and your reporting pathway. All our mentors are safely recruited and DBS checked.

  3. Decide a day of the week and an appropriate meeting space.

  4. Choose your first 5 young people.

  5. Reflect, discuss and learn as you go. .

There are 55,000 missing men from Higher Education in the UK every year— half a million over the last decade.

Boys are twice as likely to get excluded and are twice as likely to be medicated for their behaviour.

Behaviour inconsistencies, misogyny and social isolation in schools are the fruits of hidden wounds and beliefs that young people carry - picked up from pressure, distorted online narratives and exposure to harmful content. Excessive screen use, cyberbullying, and risky digital behaviours are closely linked to anxiety, disengagement from school, and poor mental health.

We’re mentoring in High Schools across Norfolk. Kids have been encouraged to continue in school, behaviour has improved and relationships restored. Year 11’s are leaving school with a growing sense of who they are, what they’re doing next, and who they’re doing it with.

We offer :

  • Practical pathways forward tailored to each young person

  • Framework for ongoing growth in story, faith, hope, relationships, self, and work

  • Encouragement, emotional connectedness, and clarity of direction

  • Strong foundation for boys seeking guidance and direction
