We take the safety and wellbeing of every young person in our programme very seriously. Eden Mentoring is delivered as a relationship-led, school-embedded support initiative, and all mentoring activity takes place within the school’s existing safeguarding framework. Eden Mentors work alongside the school to compliment existing support pathways and to ensure young people are safe, supported and protected at all times.

Our mentors are carefully selected, thoroughly vetted, and trained to operate with the highest standards of professionalism. They are recruited with appropriate background and reference checks, only work with pupils in designated school spaces and times, and engage in regular supervision to ensure that support is both safe and effective. We ensure that any concerns, disclosures or risks identified during mentoring sessions are communicated promptly and appropriately, in line with school policy.

We're a Community Interest Company (CIC), meaning our work is structured to serve the wider community and create lasting social impact. We're supported by a variety of experienced professionals to ensure that we operate with strong governance and professional standards.
